The Hanoi Museum is conserving four groups of artifacts (total of 24 objects) which have been recognized as National Treasures according to Decision No.

On January 30th, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 41/QD-TTg recognizing 27 national treasures (phase 11, 2022). These include the weapons collection of Giang Vo Military School, dating back to 15th - 17th centuries and which are conserved at the Hanoi Museum.

On January 14th, 2015, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Decision No.53/QD-TTg, recognizing Vietnam National Treasures (Time 3) for 12 artifacts and groups of artifacts including the Thanh Mai bell. It was a great pleasure for all the staff of the Hanoi Museum.
